Day 4

Another busy day.  I figure I ought to be unpacked tomorrow or the next day but I'll still need a few days more to decide where I want what. Have already given away a few items and I imagine I'll find more.  Mary came into town at 10. She bought me an over the toilet shelf and even managed to put it together herself.

I set out a few knickknacks but still have at least two boxes to go. Think I'll put some on the top of the kitchen cabinets as there's plenty of room.
I wanted to decorate my doorway a bit so Mary hung my driftwood mobile and some Port Townsend pictures and a jigsaw puzzle I love.

That little doll on the shelf has a sweater on that says "Over the Hill."

She wanted to drive through Fort Worden so I sat back and enjoyed the view. Amazing to see the deer near the tennis courts.
We stopped at the courthouse so I could change my precinct for voting in November and then we went to Don's Pharmacy for a burger. Ended up at Henery Hardware and then back home for more unpacking.  Busy day.

My hip continues to get worse so I'm going to see what my chances are of finding someone who might give me a cortisone shot.  For now, I'm off to my recliner as my feet are starting to swell. Poor ole body just can't do as much as she used to.
