I figure one more day and I should be settled in. Have to hang clothes on these special hangers when I finish this post. I bought two boxes of them before I moved as I wanted to preserve space. They're pretty handy. I threw everything on my bed so I'd be forced to finish the job.
I went down to dinner at 4 intending to bring a tray up here because I ate a late lunch (just a baloney sandwich) but I wasn't hungry and planned to eat in another hour or so. But....it didn't work out that way and I discovered I was hungry after all.
Tonight it was a salad, cooked cauliflower, mashed potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, and a brownie. It was delicious!
I tried to get myself lined up with a new doctor today but that was a joke. After sitting on hold for ten minutes I was told the nearest appt. was November. I said "well, I'll just go to the next name on my list." She said all the doctors (meaning those taking new patients) are booked until November and December. Isn't that just swell! She suggested I go to the Quilcene clinic as I could get in faster. I told her I didn't want to get established with a Quilcene doctor and then have to drive there in winter when the roads are bad. I finally signed up with a nurse practitioner so at least I'll have someone to see and maybe get referred to another doctor if need be. And my appt with her isn't until Sept. 29! So.... I'm heading to Port Angeles March 13th to see if she'll give me a cortisone shot for this damn hip of mine. I don't know what I'm going to do if she feels I don't need a shot. The other doctor I saw regularly up there is a P.A. and she's moving her practice to Sequim on March 18. I guess I'll have to drive there if anything comes up and I really need to see a doctor. What a crock! The lady who was helping me with my appt said the doctors all have free appt spots right now because everyone was cancelling. I guess because of the virus. I just can't get all worked up about that stupid virus. It's overkill by the media in my opinion.
Tomorrow I have a couple of quick errands and then will sit down with the phone and computer to work my way down the list of companies I need to change my address with. The post office charged me $1.05 to change my address on line. That's a crock too!
Time to get to those clothes now. Here's some shots of work I did get done today. As you can see, I have my priorities. ha ha
