You wouldn't think that a person could lose anything in a small one-bedroom apartment but it's possible. At least in my case. I decided I was going to get back into my genealogy searches and I'm not sure why I didn't think of that hobby sooner as I really do enjoy it. Anyhow, I started hunting for the box that held half a dozen 3-ring binders full of family data. Couldn't find it and wondered if that meant a trip to P.A. to see if I stored them at Jenni's. I couldn't imagine I did that as I knew I wanted to work on them. In the process of looking, I ended up rearranging other things in all the rooms. The kitchen cabinets was especially beneficial to me as I had all these spices and other things I seldom, if ever, use taking up prime property in the cupboard. I moved several items to this tall cupboard that is my pantry and holds food. Then I placed the toaster, microwave, and coffee pot in better spots on the small counter. Like it so much better.
The coat closet shelf got new stuff arranged up there as did the large hall closet. My bedroom closet is utilizing space better now too and I found nooks in the livng room that could hold things I wanted close at hand. I have always been a room rearranger. In the seven weeks I've been here, I've changed the living room and bedroom twice. Yeah, it's my hobby.
I've got a beer caps jigsaw set up on the table now but it's looking awfully difficult. Course they're all difficult when you first start up. I did get the border done so I guess I'll keep going. Baseball is on tv now (reruns) but I like the sound of the game playing in the background and I never really watched baseball ever. Now I'm liking it. Golf starts at noon and runs for three hours. All reruns but I don't mind. Watching golf is relaxing.
Two of the four magazines I subscribed to came yesterday. Both Readers Digest so I've got new stuff to read later on. I'm halfway through my book called 'Educated'. So good. I save my cross stitch sewing for night time tv watching and today I'm thinking I might pull out the bin of material and see what I can play around with to make some quilt squares. I've got both windows open here in the living room but it still feels kind of stuffy so I may haul out my small fan.
My latest Jacob story: Mary was telling me about how she and this other mother set up a zoom visit for Jacob and her son who is in the same kindergarten class. At first Jake was hesitant and didn't want to do it but once they started talking, it was hilarious. They both walked around their house showing each other things......
This is my room. These are my toys. This is my nerf gun.
I have one of those.
Then they went outside with the phones.
This is my yard. That's our fence.
Jump over it.
No! It's too high.
When we get over the Co-Wanna virus, can you come over and play?
Too cute!
Well, I think I hear my breakfast coming down the hall. Maybe I'll take a picture of it today so I'll at least have something to share. You never know what you're getting. Sometimes it's great; other times not so much. Today it looks yummy.
