Good Friday

I'm having a halfway decent Friday.  Worked on my jigsaw puzzle most of the morning and "the waiter" delivered a terrific ham and egg sandwich for breakfast. Quite tasty.  My puzzle is only 500 pcs and while it's not horribly difficult, it's not a piece of cake either.  Oh! Cake. I could use some cake.

I drove over to Les Schwab at 8 to get some air in a front tire that looked a tad low. It was.  After playing with the puzzle, I decided to clean house. Naturally, it goes pretty fast in a one bedroom apartment.  I'd been thinking about rearranging the bedroom and once I get an idea in my head, it stays there.  Well, not always but you know what I mean.  It's an extra challenge to do the job quietly so as not to bother the lady down below.  I did have to use my hammer to hang two more pictures and run the vacuum, but otherwise I think I did it fairly quietly.  I sure do like it better.
I'm not really using my sewing machine too much right now (and I miss it) but I only have so much material and I know I'll get back to it sooner or later.  I've got a cross stitch pattern I'm working on now and just got a book of dog patterns so that will occupy my time. Once the puzzle is completed, I'll use the tabletop to finish this small quilt that needs the batting and backing.

I've been trying to read more but invariably it puts me to sleep.  Which is annoying but naps are good too, I suppose.  I took pictures of my hallway and door today. Been trying to catch a bird in the tree outside my window but no luck yet.

I think I'm gonna bake up a batch of bran muffins today. Or tomorrow. I kind of wore myself out cleaning. haha  Guess I'll get out the cookbook and see if I have all the ingredients I need. At least they'll be easy to keep in the freezer as there's lots of room.

And that's about all I have for today.
