It's 12:30 in the afternoon. Sun is shining and I'm sitting here playing solitaire and bingo and trying to decide if I want to get back into my book. I kinda do but I know it means a nap is on the way. Been trying different techniques to clean my old muffin tin but so far the only thing has made even a tiny bit of difference is plain ole scubbing it. I tried oven cleaner spray this morning. Took it outside and left for an hour. Didn't do much. I'll wait until mother's day and let Jenni buy me a new one.
I did facetime with Mary on the phone this morning. That was fun. I got to see Poppy too. Jake was sitting next to her but he was absorbed with his phone game. I walked around the apartment with my phone so she could see each room. I took my sewing machine out to my sister-in-law, Lill, yesterday so she could finish sewing ties on all the masks she's making. Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend at QFC in Hadlock in the parking lot so I can return the plastic bins she lent me for moving and maybe pick up some material scraps she's giving me. Might stop and pick up my sewing machine on the way back in if Lill is finished with her project.
Yesterday morning the Easter bunny left two plastic eggs on everybody's doorstep. One held candy, the other held quarters for the washer and dryer. I discovered my oven is in need of repair. My 400 oven for the muffins I made burnt 'cause the temperature got up close to 500. I put in a work request for the maintenance man to take a look at it and I'll be curious to see how long that takes.
I watched a pretty interesting documentary on Amazon Prime last night. Darwin. About this ghost town in CA that has a population of 35. Next I'm tuning in to Ozark on Netflix. Another good one on PBS was The Windermere Children.
Not much in the way of pictures today. Here's the puzzle I finished and the mask Lill made me.
