Another Day of not much

It's 2 pm and I've done a little of this and a little of that.  Meaning I worked on my quilt a bit, worked on my jigsaw a bit, listened to my book on tape a bit, did some mending, and changed the sugar water in my hummingbird feeder even though none have come around so far. Could be they may never find me.

Yvonne (a former mill co-worker) took my neighbor on an errand so when I saw her in the hallway, I had to grab my camera.  Unless I go out and about for a drive, my photo ops are hit and miss.

Monday I picked up Mary Gaboury who lives two blocks away when she's back in Washington and we rode around town looking at this and that.

She called me a while ago and said her daughter went to a casino over in her area that has opened up with various precautions in place and she won $6500!  Sigh.....

I went by my sister's yesterday as she had a sack of material to give me. She also gave me one of her bags that I was admiring.  It's an over the shoulder backpack type but I wanted to be able to put it over my head to wear so I added a longer strap. It'll be handy for carrying extra things like my camera and whatever else won't actually fit in my purse.

I've decided I need to make more of an effort to not play bingo and solitaire games online. Way too addicting. I have all my genealogy notebooks under this table so today's the day I pull them out and get to work on seeing what I can find.  I'm fortunate to have pictures of both sets of great grandparents but I'd really like to find pictures of the great greats.  My other goal is to find out whatever happened to my grandpa Gene's brother, Charlie.  Maybe this will be the year I'm successful.

Right now, though, I think I'll finish watching this movie I started last night on Prime called Cosmos. The sound on it was lousy so I had to keep turning it up but I didn't want to go too high as it was late and I'm very conscious of the neighbors. This place is noisy today, though. Maintenance man is painting the hallway with his music on and neighbors are visiting back and forth. Time for me to play my movie.
