Early Tuesday To-Do's

So far it's been a morning of picking up loose ends and paper shuffling.  The bank made a mistake and accidently closed my checking and savings account this month. Their error was discovered right away and it was fixed but.....not quick enough apparently.  I have AARP as my medical supplement and their payment is automatically deducted from my account.  They must have tried to deduct at the exact time my account was closed as I received a package of envelopes and coupons to make my next payment.  Also wanted me to sign up for automatic withdrawal.  Sigh.... I called and told them it was a bank error and it's all fixed but that wasn't good enough and I had to fill out paperwork with the bank routing number and such all over again.  I have four other bills I pay online and now I'm wondering if they were screwed up too. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Such a nuisance.

I'm going to work on my quilt squares today and maybe sit and read a while.  Am in the process of gathering the ingredients together that I need to bake a rhubarb cake. Sure hope the oven doesn't burn it up.  I finished a 300-pc jigsaw yesterday and it was kind of fun as it was easy and went fast. Going to wait a few days before I pull the next box out of the closet.

Watched Snowpiercer on Netflix last night. A sci fi offering about the earth being frozen over in the future and how people survived on a train. Poor people in the back, the rest in the front. Weird but I did watch it all. A tad violent but I guess I was in the mood. haha

Still no hummingbirds at my feeder but then it is hidden by tree branches so I suppose they might not find it. Boo hoo!  I was looking forward to them coming in.  We'll see. There are pretty rhodys down below so maybe that will draw them.
