Landmark Day

I had two visitors in my apartment today. First ones since I moved in March 7th. Janie took the bus up and it dropped her about a block away. Her and Lucy.  I had to go out and put tabs on my car so I walked her in through the lobby -- ready to do battle with the manager if she tried to stop us.  She was in her office but busy training a new assistant so we walked on by happily.  One of my neighbors was in the parking lot and told me to use the side door. haha  I'd still have to go down the hallway to the elevator so I told him no, we're just going to plow ahead. I was ready for a showdown if need be.  Makes no sense that the senior apt house in PA (similar to ours and also NOT assisted living, has been able to have visitors in their own apartment since day one.  I've got my own theory on why the manager here continues to bar our company but I'll keep it to myself for now.

Not sure what is wrong with this website but blogger isn't letting me download a picture. It did this once before so I may have to come back later to post the ones I took of Janie and Lucy.

I got a few triangles cut out for my next quilt square attempt and I think the next one will be better colorwise. We'll see. It's called whirlygig and I'll start sewing on them tomorrow. I've got about four counted cross stitch designs completed and will work on getting them framed up next week for set aside Xmas gifts.  I hate the framing part of these projects but it's just too expensive to let a shop do it.

I ordered a pair of black jeans from this place online and they arrived yesterday. Unfortunately (and I knew better) I didn't order the correct size. Am going to stick in the mail for Susan tomorrow rather than go to all the trouble to return.

Janie used my computer while here to order five things on Amazon and to write up a short newsletter for her apartment house.  I think I'll have Mary Gaboury come over for a visit this weekend. Seems such a shame that she's only two blocks away and can't come up here.  We're gonna plan a 7 Cedar Casino trip one of these days.

I watched a halfway decent movie on Hulu last night called Luce.  And I still can't access pictures so I guess I'll set this aside and post later in the day.  Okay. It's working again.
