Tuesday night

Gees!  It's only 8 pm and I'm feeling like I could go to bed.  But I won't! It would mean I'd be up at midnight.  I should go outside and go for a walk but I won't! Already have my pajamas on anyhow.
Just finished watching a 1982 movie that I'm pretty sure I've seen at least three times now.  Funny how I didn't remember the plot all that much.  It's one of those movies where you sit and just chew up the scenery all the way through.  Starred Cher (who was my favorite), Karen Black, Kathy Bates, and Sandy Dennis. Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean.  What a nutty title. Good writing and good plot, though.

I managed to get a little sewing done today. The hard kind of sewing where you have to measure, cut, pin, sew, turn, press, sew.  I made a tablecloth for the table I have in the kitchen that originally I just had set up with one leaf down. Decided I could use more space, especially when I'm doing puzzles or rock painting.
I started to vacuum the place but it quit working after I did the bedroom. Figured it was the filter that needed cleaning and I was right. I cleaned the machine and ran the filter under the water in the sink but then had to let it dry on the window sill before I dared put it back in the machine. I'll finish vacuuming tomorrow.

I was going to do some rock painting but the sewing took all my energy. I did get four sprayed with glaze, though.

I'm almost done with the cross stitch of Donald Duck. Just need to do the outline stitches and then I can work on Daisy.
Let's see....what else did I do that wasn't exciting today?  Oh yeah, poured salt, baking soda and vinegar down the kitchen sink drain again as I didn't think the first treatment worked that well.  I read a little of my book (got another paperback I ordered in the mail today) and I think that was the extent of my activities. Well, I did pay one bill.  Amazon card.  Was expecting it to be $64 but sadly, it was annual dues time and the total was $193.  That didn't please me.

Tomorrow is probably going to be much like today although I do have to make one quick errand down to my sister's to take her some yarn and the tape I borrowed. She's got a pair of slippers for me so I'm anxious to see them. Hope they fit as I could use a pair.  Thursday afternoon is doctor appt and I'm hoping that goes well. Always a little anxious seeing a new guy. Hope he doesn't make me take my clothes off. That's a horrible way to start a relationship. haha

Friday, Mary Gaboury and I are heading to Port Angeles. We'll stop in Sequim first to pick up a package at Mary Norton's house. Wouldn't you know that's her errand day too and we're going to miss each other.  I plan on stopping at the Dollar Tree and Walmart in Sequim and maybe Costco. Then up to PA to stop by Sue's and drop off a pair of pants and then over to pick up Joyce Lee and go to Jenni's house for a while. Then we'll stop at the casino for a bit on the way home. I'll probably be exhausted after all that.  Taking my camera so hopefully I'll find something interesting to shoot.

Am watching this disc set Mary lent me called Fargo. Stars Billy Bob Thornton, who I really like even though he's evil as all get out in this series. He's good in Goliath too.
I started watching this show on Hulu (I think it was Hulu) called Barkskins. It's pretty good, as well.
Mary had a half birthday party for Jake today since his regular birthday falls on Dec. 23. She filled his bedroom floor with balloons so the woke up to that. Some had LED lighting. So cool.
She also set up a pool on the deck. Poppy doesn't like baths so she didn't hop in but she drank a lot.
And off to the recliner I go.
