A few errands today

My energy level has been so low these past couple of weeks. Just can't work up any desire to do much. I think I know what the problem is -- distress in the lower track.  Seems to be harder to keep the ole bowels happy as I age.  Yeah, I know. That's the last thing you want to read about but oh well, 'ya gotta go with what you got.

I saw a new doctor today as mine is still out for whatever reason.  I was concerned about the cellulitis on my lower legs that broke out Dec. 30.  It' improving now and he said it was most likely caused by something in my system and I need to apply this cream.  Now that I think about it, I don't remember exactly what he said caused it. And I was paying attenton too. I'm a lazy listener I guess. At least the rash is clearing up some now. On Dec. 30, it looked like this:   My legs have never been my best feature and they're gonna continue along that line for the rest of my life, I'm sure.

He had me go over to the hospital for blood work and luckily, I didn't have a long wait. I stopped by my sister's to drop off something I typed up for her and then I headed over to Safeway. I was going to get some ice cream but my weight was down at the doctor's office so I decided I'd pass on the ice cream.  At least for now.  I had to buy a mop. Couldn't believe how expensive a simple mop was. And the one I bought said: buy 2, get one free. Who would need three mops?!

I left there and went up to QFC to drop off library books as they have a bin nearby.  I guess I was going too slow for some broad behind me and she honked at me. I let it go but I was probably more irritated with her toot than she was being slowed down.  I think it's the time we live in now. Nobody has patience and everybody is acting on the rude side.

The blood draw didn't hurt but that area is sore now. I knew it would be. My skin is very sensitive to needles these days and I'm sure I will get a big ole bruise before the day is over.  My cousin Linda in KY is back in the hospital.  She was dehydrated and needed oxygen. Probably shouldn't have left the hospital in the first place.  I hope she's on the mend.

Got a notice on my door today that the mailman can now deliver packags to our door. Should start by Jan. 20. I'm glad because management was taking it  upon themselves to hold our packages overnight and I don't feel they had any right to do that.  After our 2nd vaccine is given on Feb. 6th, they're going to allow us visitors in our room. Another thing that is ABOUT TIME!

Tomorrow morning I'm running a neighbor to the dentist. It's near Goodwill so maybe I'll run in there and see if I can find anything I need.  On the 21st I'm taking two ladies to Sequim. Doctor and Goodwill. Mabye Walmart too.  Got a call from Mary Gaboury this morning and she's depressed because she can't get through to anyone about her and David getting the vaccine. Said they've run out.

Well, I've got a sink full of dishes to wash but I think I'm going to take a nap instead.  I have to force myself up every morning as it feels like I'm always tired. Wonder if my blood test for Vit D will show anything amiss.  And with that, I'm off.
