Using my new oven

I'm sure I will get more comfortable the more I use it. I'm always that way with a new toy. Timid to see what it can do. Tonight I cooked a small meatloaf that I had in the freezer. Am finding things are cooking quicker than I'm used to as it almost burned a bit. But it was fine. Except I put too much bread in it to beef it up. I made three little loaves months ago and had them in the freezer.  Yesterday I air fried a handful of frozen fries. Very easy. No oil. Love that.  Tomorrow I will make my morning toast. That shouldn't be that big a deal. Mary gave me a container of banana chocolate chip cookie dough so I'm thawing that out so I can try baking on the little cookie sheet. The cord is so short on it that I'm having to put stuff in and out from this side of the counter but that's okay.

My daughter, Sue, walked on the ferry yesterday and was picked up by our cousin, Ilene, from Bellingham. Ilene drove back to her farm and Sue test drived the pick up truck a guy was selling. The plan was for Sue to stop by here on her way home but she got lost and instead of going to the Coupeville ferry, she ended up at the Edmonds ferry. She must have been a nervous wreck as she's not really used to city driving. Plus the truck as a stick. But she did okay and planned on cleaning it up today.
I went downtown this afternoon but didn't really get to walk around much as my hip had other plans. I took a few pictures and just headed on home.

I went to the dermatologist yesterday to find out what was going on with  the ugly rash on my lower legs. I really didn't think it was psoriasis as it didn't look like it and it didn't itch.  She knew immediately what it was -- something called Schaumberg's Disease.  Of course I had to google it when I got home. I'm going to cut and paste it here so I'll have a record of it when I want to look it up again.

I'm going up to stay with Jenni for a couple days on March 13th.  When I leave on the 15th, I'll stop at the casino to have lunch with Joanne Gilles and maybe Mary Norton, if she feels up to going out. I invited Joyce Lee to go with us too. Been months since we've gone there.

Not too much going on tomorrow. I did start sewing crumb quilt pieces again so I'll work on that and maybe play with the jigsaw puzzle I have set up.

Here's a cartoon I saw on Facebook.  And identified with when I was in physical therapy.

And here's one Mary just posted of them going out to dinner.
