I have wattched several videos on youtube about how to make face masks. Pretty much all of them look easy peasy so how come mine turn our looking like a piece of crap?! I bet I've attempted half a dozen and I haven't made one yet that suits me -- or that looks like the video. I don't get it. I go along very slowly step by step and I seem to be okay until I get to the folding part of the video. I play it over and over and over but my brain won't work. Wasted my whole morning on that useless project so the hell with it!
I made a quick run to Goodwill but walked out (like I usually do) with nothing Their prices are terrible and their selection is worse. $7 for a beat up worn flannel sheet. Ridiculous. I'm just going to have to find my batting elsewhere. Sure don't want to pay Joanne's prices though. They're completely inflated! I left there and decided to go to Safeway and buy some carbs. Bread, bagels, english muffins and lemon doughnuts. I feel better now.
I think I'll turn on one of the audio books I picked up at the library yesterday and see about working on my jigsaw puzzle. I've got a start on it so that should give me some confidence.
Finished watching Reacher on Amazon Prime last night. Funny how I can stay up until 11 if I'm motivated. Now I have to find something new. So far the Olympics haven't interested me much. Maybe when they get to ice skating.
I haven't had much success in finding pictures to scan that I haven't already scanned so my next project is to start organizing all the photos, newspaper articles, obits, etc. that I do have on my computer and getting them into separate files. I may end up giving everybody their own folder, or at least whole families in one folder with subfolders after that.
Well, that's it for today. Would kind of like to take a nap but the floor is noisier than usual today, for some reason. Dogs barking, people talking and laughing in the hall, balloons popping (we have a birthday boy down the hall), and things being dropped. Maybe I'll find a video to post.
I dropped into visit Lee and Elaine Arey yesterday. She was on the phone (again) trying to get Century Link to explain why her Internet isn't working. I hear more horror stories about that outfit. Poor Elaine. She's dealing with macular degeneration now on top of everything else.
Here's a video that has had over 12 million views. Fascinating.
