Just another ho hum day for me. Slept poorly last night (restless leg syndrome and other foot problems).
Gonna eat a gummy cannibis candy tonight and see if I can't get some help. Used to be I would drop off within ten minutes of hitting the sack but not anymore. Even when I go to bed dead tired, I can pretty much count on tossing and turning for two hours. Last night I got up at midnight and played solitaire online for a while.
I'm going to Port Angeles on Monday with a neighbor who wants to hit Grocery Outlet for keto foods and Jenni will show her the cannibis store so she can pick up some gummies. She's borrowed three from me and said they worked really good for her. Meanwhile, I've been kind of dragging all day and have my fingers crossed that tomorrow will be different.
I'm waiting for my doctor to call so I can ask her about the cat scan I had recently. I thought cat scans were supposed to show more that ultrasounds (which I also had) but obviously, it didn't work 'cause now she wants me to see a urologist so we can see if I have a cyst on my left kidney. From what I've read on google regarding the results, old people can get readings like that. I'm not real keen on seeing another doctor unless she really feels it's necessary. I tried making an appt with one in the neighborhood that I've heard is good and even though his website said he was taking patients, he wasn't. I wish doctors would pay more attention to their info online. I've called lots of doctors that said they were taking only to be told they weren't.
I also wanted to ask my doctor about this blood mark that just showed up on my hand. I hadn't hit my hand so I don't know what's going on there. I do know I have thin skin and old people get these but I don't like the looks of it.
She did email me this morning and told me to go get blood drawn so she could see if my platelet count was going down. It was. I decided to go buy some liver and oysters as Google said that was a food I needed to add to my diet. I love both of those so it was off to Safeway. After hunting, I asked the butcher where his liver was and he said they were out. Say what?! So I bought the oysters --- and ice cream!
