Better Today

 It's 4 pm and my legs are pleading with me to sit down and take a load off. Man! Some days are way better than other days, that's for sure. I'm still dealing with eyes that don't work as well as I think they should. Another damn age thing I suppose. Gonna have to make the font bigger here.

This is the medium size and I think I can see the screen a tad better with it. I got quite a bit down today. All at a rather slow pace but still....

I filled up the car with gas (UGH!) and I went to the farmers market early uptown. Had a lot of free coupons to use and picked up some yummy veggies.

They were out of chicken eggs so I took the duck eggs which are larger. I came home and fixed some egg bites in my air fryer. I'd been putting it off because I'm always intimidated trying new stuff. And I screwed up a bit but they were still edible. And quite tasty. 

At least I know what I did wrong. I should have mixed the grated cheese in with the green onion and meat, cooked them a few minutes and then poured in the egg/milk mixture but only 2/3 full; not all the way to the top.  Quick and easy but they're supposed to look like mini muffins. haha  I do love my air fryer.

I had rocks to finish painting so I could put all those supplies away. I took them down to the courtyard to spray and I'll let them sit for a couple hours or so and then bring them back up.

As I was coming back up, I noticed a large bag of audio books had been donated by someone. I looked them over and brought 8 of them up to my bookshelf. Love having books to listen to while doing puzzles. I took a handful because sometimes they're defective and won't play good and other times,they're a little boring and not what I'm interested in.  I do love having them on hand,though.

I'm gonna' make a big ole salad for supper. I heard a couple neighbors talking about the lame meal today. Menu said taco salad but guess what wasn't in it. Any kind of meat! I'm so glad I'm off the package here. Their money saving techniques are really ripping residents off in my opinion.

Tomorrow morning I'm going over to visit Kathy Dillon as she said she has a couple of cameras I can have. I'm so excited. My camera hasn't been taking good pictures for some time now. Not sure why. Do cameras wear out?  Nothing much else planned for tomorrow.Will probably watch golf and work on my latest jigsaw puzzle.

I just got a facebook message to try zooming in on people before takin their picture. You'd think I'd know that. Gonna give it a whirl later and see if it helps.

Here's a picture I just took from my bedroom window using my phone camera. It would have been better but the autumn hours are causing lots of shade. Which is fine. I'm ready for summer to make an exit. And that reminds me to change my calendar.
