Well, my book arrived today and I'm so relieved that it looks good enough to offer for sale. Let me know if you want a copy. They're $10 + shipping.
It's called Knocking on Heavens Door and is has just under 200 obits that I've saved over the years. Not the obits as written in the paper. Just thumbnail sketches of the person and memories I had of them. Was able to get photos on all but about three.
I've been working on this 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle (a complicated one) but I gave up today and put it back in the box. I had maybe 1/4 done but if I can't get but one piece after sitting for a half hour, my patience level says "you're going straight to hell!" haha
Got 3 videos from my granddaughter showing the obstacle course she had to go through. If I can figure out how to transfer the video, I'll share here but I don't think I know how to do that. I will shows the pics she sent, though. She was the top woman to compete.
I worked a little bit this morning cutting out 3" squares for this small quilt I want to finish up. Also cut some sashing strips for this other wall hanging I'm working on. Not too motivated to do too much today. Watcing golf if more in line with my mood.
My daughter Jenni told me I had to watch this Netflix movie called Dog Gone so I'm going to check that out in a while.
I hear my ex husband is moving into Avemere in a couple of weeks. He'll be on the floor below my brother and his wife. Monday I'm going down to my sister's apt to be with her when she goes to have a meeting with her manager. She was promised this handicap apt and then it was given to someone else. From what I understand it's a law that the handicap have to have their needs meet as far as certain living conditions and hers are nto being met. Especially the bathroom area. She's already fallen once.
I poured out the contents of another jisaw puzzle so I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm sitting here looking at the stack and wondering why I put myself through this. Ha!
I guess I'll head to the kitchen now and start dinner. Opening up a can of salmon to make salmon loaf. Pretty easy but I still wish I had someone to make it for me.
