I wasn't sure how many to expect this morning but was surprised to have a dozen residents pop in along with 12 other friends. I had way too many cookies and I'll be drinking the orange juice and tea for a while too! Oh well, better to have too much than not enough. Thank you Joanne Bennett for bringing cookies over yesterday when you stopped in. And thank you Jenni & Carrie for driving down from Port Angeles to give me a hand.
I've got 11 books set aside in my closet for those who ordered but will be picking up in the spring or summer time or later this month. I ordered 60 books and only have three left to sell so I guess I guessed right. That's a relief. Shown below are 13 photos I snapped while I was standing up front. Kris Logue took a bunch too so look on Facebook for hers. Thank you Kris!
I'm tired now. Ran to the bank and Penny Saver to get a mighty bite sandwich and I think it's time for a little nap. I hear we're going to get cold temperatures later next week. I'm heading to the Silverdale doctor's office on Monday to see the surgeon and if I qualify for a back surgery. I sure don't want surgery but this ongoing pain is wearine me down and depression raises its ugly head now and again. Barbara Shaw is going to drive me so it will be a fun road trip.
My daughter, Mary, is coming up from Vancouver on Tuesday to help her dad move into Avamere. He's invited me over to see his apartment so I'll probably do that on Wednesday. Mary is staying the night at her friend Tami's house.
Well, time to hit the recliner and watch a little golf. Let me know if you want a copy of my book. Have three to sell at $10 each. Knocking on Heavens Door.
