Two weeks here yesterday

 It's 11 a.m. and I think I've got the house to myself. Well, Andy could be upstairs I suppose. I never know. Jake is at church camp for four days this week.Fro m9 to 12 I think. Mary is in Seattle seeing her physical therapist.

I ventured out this morning to find the post office. As usual, I got lost but my phone got me back on track. I know how to get to the places that I will want to visit ---Safeway, Safeway gas, Dollar Tree, Walmart, McDonalds, post office and I think that's about it. At some point I'll go find Fred Meyer and Joanne's.

I'll be attending the Clark Co Fair with Mary and Andy in August. Looking forward to that even though I'll have to take my walker. I'm having a difficult time walking even with the walker and that's kind of depressing.  I use handicap parking and electric carts in big stores so I'm managing along with my cane and walking stick.

I'm getting an ultrasound on my ankles at the end of the month to see why my toes are giving me so much grief. I've got my fingers crossed that answers will be found.  Mary and Andy are going to visit his folks for a week in August so I'll be here holding down the fort along with Poppy.

I've been playing with the idea of getting a dog but since my mobility is such an issue right now, I'm thinking maybe having a dog isn't a good idea -- Unless I can talk Mary into walking him when she takes Poppy out.We'll see....

I'm loving watching all the tv channels available to me now. I'm hooked on Better Call Saul on Netflix.I've sent out a dozen postcards and try to do four a day just to stay in touch. I do love living here. Mary fixes wonderful dinners and I'm very comfortable. I do not miss living at Disco View!

I've got a 1000 pc puzzle set up now so I think I'll go play with that a bit. Hope all is well at your house.
